Can I purchase with my financial aid?
If you would like to use financial aid to charge your books please make sure you have "authorized
to deduct charges from financial aid". It is your responsibility to authorize financial aid to be
charged at the bookstore before placing a web order, this will save you time and your book order
will be processed efficiently. To do this:
1. Go to MYPCC and login
2. Click on Records
3. Click on Financial Aid
4. Click Eligibility
5. Click on Student requirements
Check under your completed requirement list, there you should see if you have or have not
authorized to charge. If you do not have authorization, please contact the financial aid office at
503-977-4934 to obtain the form. We do still require visa/MC information in the event that
financial aid does not go through. We will however confirm with you before visa is
charged.
If I check used preferred for a text book is that guaranteed?
No, we can not guarantee used book availability for every order. We will fill your order with a used book
if possible, but if none are available a new copy will be used to fill your order and you will be charged for
the new book. We cannot guarantee the condition of a used book.
Can I pick up my text books that I ordered on line at the store?
We are not set up to allow in store pick up of web orders. All orders will be shipped to the customer.
Shipping charges on all orders and returns are not refundable.
Will I be contacted if there is a problem with my order?
Yes, we will try and e-mail you with any problems concerning your order. However, with the
current FERPA considerations we will only e-mail via your "myPCC" e-mail account. Please use that
e-mail account when corresponding with the bookstore.
Can I return my books that have been ordered on line?
Yes, if you wish to return your books please read our returns policy and include a copy of your receipt
or packing slip with your return. We can not guarantee appropriate credit without a copy of the receipt
and/or packing slip.
How long will it take to get my order?
In general, orders are picked and packed in the morning for the previous day and shipped that afternoon.
If you are in Oregon or Washington, that means your book should arrive the next business day or two
business days after you place the order. Orders are not processed on the weekend,holidays, or
during school closure.
What may delay my order?
Delays can be caused by financial aid issues, out of stock or late orders, declined credit cards or the
increased volume at the start of each term. Please make sure you check that you have given us your
correct e-mail and contact information before you place your order.
